Not all heroes wear a cape and mask. Some wear white coats, like Dr. Soleymani. He is an active listener and puts you first and at ease. When I was diagnosed with melanoma on my nose in 2022, Dr. Soleyman put me at ease when he said: "I'm going to get this, and it's not coming back on my watch." He did exactly what he said he would do and more. His reconstruction of my nose was superior. I cannot be more pleased from beginning to end and with the ongoing follow ups. I feel empowered to improve my own health. His technical competence is beyond reproach, and he uses state-of-the-art surgery techniques. He knows what he is doing. His contributions in the field of Mohs surgery, staining techniques, and directorships are additional proof. Recently, I have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma and knowing Dr. Soleymani is doing the surgery, I am inspired with optimism. There is no wait time; he scheduled me on the day I requested. Dr. Soleymani is always on time and very accommodating with his schedule. I had been diagnosed with melanoma insitu and was referred to City of Hope. Dr. Kang referred me to Dr. Soleymani. Dr. Kang said he was best doctor on the west coast for Mohs on melanoma insitu. I had such high anxiety about my diagnosis. Dr. Soleymani was kind enough to call me. He explained the procedure and totally calmed my fears. Had the Mohs and grafting procedure performed two weeks ago. Dr. Soleymani did a terrific job. It was all performed under local anesthetic (he is gentle and gives great shots.) I felt no pain. Am recovering and doing well. I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Soleymani. He is so kind and compassionate. Very confident and he should be. He really knows his stuff! Dr. Soleymani has been my dermatologist for years and is the best, kindest, and most responsive doctor. Whenever I have an issue, he helps me to address it immediately. Most recently, I had broken into a rash on my face when I was breastfeeding, and Dr. Soleymani was able to diagnose and treat immediately.

Dr. Soleymani was the dermatologist who I got a second opinion from and it's a blessing that I found him. His diagnosis and treatment of my skin condition was significantly less abrasive, hence I had minimal scaring and a quicker recovery. Now I'm symptom free and would in a heartbeat recommend him to anyone dealing with any type of skin condition.

Dr. Soleymani and the entire team at California Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Specialists are incredible! Not only does Dr. Soleymani have extensive experience in dermatology and Mohs Surgery, but his education, training, and experience are among the best I’ve seen in the field. What has been just as important as his qualifications is the caring relationship he has for his patients that truly puts him above the rest. At each of my appointments, he always spends as much time as possible to answer all of my questions to make sure I thoroughly understand all of my options. Since finding his practice, I have referred family and friends who have now also become his patients.

Without a doubt, the best dermatologist/surgeon there is. Dr. Soleymani provided immediate answers to my skin and nail conditions when no other dermatologist could, even at large health systems!
